Practice!!!

Right now the only time I could get the gym is Monday from 6-9 and Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30. We will have the 14s go from 6-8 on Monday and 15/16s from 7-9. We will discuss what works best for the most people for Tuesday. Sorry about Monday, but the only other day available is Friday!!

Practice info

Practices will start in December. We will keep you posted, continue to check for exact times. I need some info (med release, a picture etc) from the parents meeting from some of you. I will post that shortly. Chris is working on uniforms-- lots of crazy ideas! Any complaints go to her! JK they should be fun!

Parent Mtg

Parent meeting Wed., Pct 26th at 8:00pm in room 123 at the high school. Enter in the doors closest to the softball field. I promise it will be short. Go to imvolleyball.org and get a med release form and register as a new member. Please have medical release form and your USA volleyball card to the meeting. I will laminate the card so bring a small school picture with you. Fill in NUC for club. A player information sheet will be available at the meeting.
Remember this is NOT a tryout team. This is just Lehi feeders. The #s are about 8/team right now. 10 max!

This is what I have so far:
NUC16u-- 8 players, 3 outsides, 2 middle, 1 opp, 1 libero, 1 setter
NUC 15U--7 players
NUC14U--7 players with 2 question marks.

16U is frozen. It will just be the older girls on the sophomore team. We can play with 6 players and I would rather have only local kids, and not have open tryouts. I really need some OH for 15U. If everyone that has committed stays with us, we will have 3 smaller teams, which is fine. This way you will all get more playing time! You will all need to become members of USA volleyball and fill out a medical release form before the parents meeting. This can all be done on imvolleyball.org. The league is going to do pool play + tournament this year, which is better than last year. They have also asked us to have one chaperone/team that is also a member of USA volleyball! So, we need one chaperone and one team mom for 15/16 and one chaperone and one team mom for 14s.

NUC 2012!

As of now NUC will have a 15/16 power team and a 13/14 power team. Christina Measom will coach the 15/16 and Jamie and I will help with the other team. We will have a parent meeting at the beginning of November. All participants must print and bring their membership card, and medical release form. These forms may be found on imvolleyball.org under "forms". You will also find the power schedule on the imvolleyball website. This club is only for those athletes attending Lehi High School.

TEAM PARTY!

Both teams will have a party on Tuesday, May 24th. We will meet at Jack and Jills in Lehi at 4:00pm. Bring $3.oo, NUC will pay for the rest. Please be on time, we will have to hurry. Rookie camp starts at 5 and Chris and I have to be there.
Announcements:
1. Older girls-schedule is on-line for tournament this week. You are seeded 3rd overall, 1st in our pool. Play starts Friday at 4pm, and goes until 5 pm Saturday.
2. 7-9th graders get signed up for USU skills camp.
3. Rookie camp 3-6th grade Tues-Thurs next week.

May 16-21

Congratulations to both teams! I thought you both played very well. Sorry we were left with half our team. Without a setter, or libero the older team finished 2nd overall-their only loss of the year!
Christina's team you are invited to a tournament on the 20-21st at IVA. We will practice one day this week. Thursday 5-7pm.
We will also have a post-season party, we'll keep you posted!

Tournaments!!!

First of all, practice tomorrow 5-7pm. This is our last practice for most of you! Tournament schedule is up at imvolleyball.org. We both play at 7pm and 8am Saturday assuming we both finish 1st or 2nd on Friday. If we finish 1st or 2nd our tournament entry fee for the 20-21st is paid for. No pressure!! We will take one team (the older girls) for the 20/21 tournament. Jessica sent out a food list for Saturday, Friday you are on your own. Rylie and Syd will be coming from softball. I can meet some of you, if you need a ride just let me know. Be at IVA Friday at 6:30.

May 10 and 12

Boys basketball is running camp until 5:00 everyday. We will practice as soon as they are done, until 7:00. This is the last week for the younger team.
Christina's team: most of you said you were going to the open tournament on May 20-21. This is a $400.00 tournament that was not included in our costs. To make things easier I put the tournament on my charge card. All those that were invited please bring $35.00 cash or check to Coach Roberts.

Because of work/school schedules with the coaches the only days that work are Tues and Thurs. Trying to avoid YW conflicts, we will go early (4:30). I know some of you still have conflicts with soccer and softball, just do your best and always keep me informed.
Thursday of next week (May) Christina's team will scrimmage a boys team from 6-8pm. Spencer's team will practice 6-8 also, we will try to set up a scrimmage.

I am waiting to hear from Chris and Steph on exact practice times. They are both in their final days of school!! As for now plan on same practice times. The closet door at the high school is jammed, until a work order goes through the district, we cannot get into our equipment. If that is the case, we will practice at Willowcreek. Please stay posted I will have Rylie put it on facebook when I find out more.

Thursday March 31st:

Problem with practice this week: both gyms are being used this week for an alumni basketball tournament. We will have to practice in the dance room. Scrimmage will be postponed until next week.

2nd tournament

NUC Christina is now 8-0, great job girls! NUC Spencer is 5-3!
Congratulations to Bailee Lindquist she was player of the tournament for Jan 28-29!! Keep working hard we can always do better!
President's Day Tournament was canceled, not enough teams signed up.

First Tournament

Congratulations to both teams!!!! The older NUC team was 6-0 over the weekend. The younger girls were 3-1. Successful weekend for the whole program! A huge thanks to Jessica Roberts and all parents that help with the meals. It may not be necessary with our short schedule, but it is sure fun and something to look forward to! I appreciate the huge support.
Our schedule looks like we will not be having tournament play. I did not know this until Saturday when we got our schedule. The remaining tournaments will be one day events!
Please thank Stephanie and Christina they are both awesome! We are very lucky to have them and we only expect our girls to get better!

Monday Practice

Practice will be held Monday, Jan. 24th 5-7pm instead of Wednesday. Thursday will be normal practice. Monday Practice is only for this WEEK!!! We will continue to go Wed and Thurs nights, unless something comes up. Jessica Roberts should be sending a food assignment this week. Practice Times

Practice will remain Wed and Thurs 7-9 pm. However, softball recently started open gym and will also go from 7-9. Unless there is an away basketball game we will be in the dance room. It is just North of the big gym by the girls locker room. Go through the locker room door and turn left. We will make do!
